Cripple Creek used to be a gold mining community in the Colorado. Cripple Creek is located about an hour from Colorado Springs and is a casino gambling town. Located in a very scenic area, there are many attractions, activities and sights to make the town a good vacation choice for a long week-end. There a scenic train ride, called the Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad, rafting, rock climbing and other things. The town still has the flavor of the 1890s.
